Getting the natural colour of travertine tiles

I am in the process of sealing Travertine wall tiles for the kitchen. Because the tiles are so porous some tiles remain 'dry' and 'chalkie' after 3 or 4 sealing coats. Is there a product or procedure I can use that will bring out the natural colours once the tiles have been fitted? Peter

Hi,ive got travertine in my kitchen.You need an impregnator.It gives a glossy shine and enhances colour. Advance tiling
