wimpey no fines house - patio doors
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.54 PM
Hi, I would like to cut out some wall to allow room for a patio door. The wall forms part of a wimpey no-fines house and I have tried to find images of a cross section of the wall. If I open the remainder of the window hole up down to the damp course(Sic?) could the wall collapse? In terms of rebar, what, if any are in there, does the wall have a lintel under the sill? I have sent a request to the LA for more information, but would like to bolster my independent research. Thanks for your replies!
