Gaps between UPVC. What sealant to fill?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.52 PM

Hi! We have some UPVC sliding doors and the sealant between some of the external parts is coming away. This is not a gap between the wall and UPVC, it's between UPVC to UPVC components (external) and is already beaded up, it's just disintegrating through age. I'd like to reseal, but I don't know what sealant to use. Any suggestions.

Clean it as much as you can and use a CT1 just get the best matching colour. Leyland has a wide range of colours.

Sounds like it’s got into the glass Unit? If so there’s only one option. To change the glass or whole frame and glass rather than bodging it 👍
