Daikin 7H-01 water flow issue
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.33 PM
Hi I have a hybrid Daikin altherma heat pump/gas boiler. When the system reaches the required temperature is shuts off and displays a 7H-01 (water flow problem error). It doesn’t happen when it heats the water or when each zone reaches the required temperature (the motorised valves shuts off). It only happens when there is no requirement for the system to work. When it stops (reaches the temperature) it displays a 7H-01 error. I then press ok and the system starts back up until it reaches temperature again.Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi this could be a lack of pressure in the system, by using the filling loop on the boiler to increase the pressure in the system. Keep it between 1.5-2.0 bar. Or it could be that the strainer (filter) is blocked on the return to the heat pump (on the return pipe outside) I’d advise an engineer to do this , the lever/butterfly valve on the strainer should be turned off, using a pair of grips or spanner unscrew the strainer , wash it off in the sink, place it back in and tighten the cap back in. Finally turn the lever/butterfly valve back on. (May need to top the pressure back up in the system after this is complete) hope this helps
