Best way to remove metal weather strip from door step.

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.54 PM

We have had an utility built on the side of the house. To enter this we use what was the old back door, this door has the metal strip on the step from when it was the back door. Now the door has gone and I want to know the best way to get this metal strip out so we can carry the flooring into the utility?

This depends on what the strip is set into. Assuming it is set into a timber threshold then you can drill a hole through it and use a crowbar or car jack and steel cable or chain to pull it out of the groove. Alternatively get hold of a reciprocating saw or an angle grinder and cut it off.
