Electrical

meaning of "per point"

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 3.01 PM

Regarding an electrical quotation (i.e a full rewire with a new consumer board), please help me understand what "per point" means and how the cost is calculated? Thanks for your time.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Usually "per point " would mean wiring a socket/ switch or bulb. This includes replace wires or add new ones and mount the socket/ switch If a room have 2 sockets, 1 light bulb and 1 switch then there would be "4 point" The price is calculated x hour or x job! X hour = price per hour + time. x job =difficulty+ the guide price Different jobs have different prices and sometimes can conclude as £80-£100 per hour and you have no choice because you want it legal.
