Need PWA for building on top of existing extension?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.06 PM
We have an existing single storey extension that has adequate footing for a new storey. The extension is within our boundary by a few inches and does not form any party wall with the neighbour. Do we need to serve a PWA if we want to build on top?

Yes the previous person is correct. No PWA is required however be careful when you get to roof level and have overhanging eaves and gutters. All of these should be within your site or there could be seen to be infringement issues.
