Taps and shower running cold after 2 minutes

Hi all I really hope someone can help me. We have 5 taps and 1 thermostatic shower (Mira Atom ERD) in our house, the problem is 2 mixer taps and the thermostatic shower is running cold after 2 minutes. The other 3 mixer taps are running totally fine and run hot water as long as we need them to. The combi boiler (Gloworm Ultracom 38cxi) has been thoroughly checked over and the only thing that was replaced was the heat exchanger as this was leaking. The boiler engineer said that either the shower or one of the 2 mixer taps is letting cold water in to the system or all of them. Is there a way to tell which one it is? I find it difficult to think 2 mixer taps and the thermostatic shower is letting cold water in to the system. Any advice would be really appreciate, thanks in advance. Regards Jay.

Hi have you tried isolating 1 fixture at a time for 24h see if the fault disappears?

What does the temperature show at the boiler display when running the hot water. you could have a blocked plate heat exchanger? iv known of the black tube on the flow pipe near the boiler be blocked before now. it all depends what the temperature is showing at the display to see if the boiler is staying in what we call "high fire" (where the burner stays lit on high and not goes low or off. this would indicate plate heat exchanger. The plate heat exchanger is different to the main heat exchanger which you say has been replaced (the main heat echanger would have been in a large box aswel). Thanks, Shaun @ D&D Gas service's
