I work in a care home and one of our toilets keeps blocking up no matter what I do to it.
I have used different kinds of plungers, and toilet augers, I have even had professionals come out and use a massive air-pressure gun, each method has unblocked it at the time, but then a day or two later it just blocks up again.
I thought maybe there is something further down the pipes that may be stopping the water flow, however, I have over 20 toilets all leading to the same pipes so I would have thought a blockage in the pipes would cause issues for at least one other toilet.
Any ideas on what the issue could be and any solutions would be amazing as I can not have a none working toilet in a residents room.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
If the other toilets are all working ok and on the same waste system it must be to do with the actual toilet cistern itself. Maybe need to remove the toilet giving the problem and investigate as it might be the pan system.
It may be a good idea to arrange for a camera to be put down the toilet or via an access plug on the soil pipe to determine what the root cause is.
We recently dealt with an issue similar to this, and after a camera inspection, we recognised a lot of limescale build up in the pipes.

This is difficult to diagnose without 'looking at it'.
But if the other toilets are working correctly and the issue is isolated to one toilet, it suggest there could be an issue with the macerator.
The macerator is designed to liquefy waste using blades, over time these blades wear out or break. If the macerator isn't doing its job correctly, waste will build up in the waste pipes.
Hope this helps, good luck
partial blockage in pipework from wc to where it joins other pipes, if it is pvc push fit it could be one of the joining rings has become dislodged and part of it is protruding into pipework, this causes a gradual build up of of whatever is flushed down the wc, once cleared by plunging it starts to build up again gradually causing a blockage, baby wipes are one of the worst thing you can flush down a wc they snag on anything, get a camera down to check it.
