Stopping slugs & worms in the conservatory

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.54 PM

We have a small conservatory, and there is a gap between the bottom of the uPVC windows and the concerete floor. We have laid carpet tiles (replacing the old ones), but we are getting slugs and worms coming in. Obviously it wasn't built well, but the easiest solution seem to be to plug the gap between the carpet and windows/small walls nearest the house (no idea why there is a gap anyway!). Any ideas on what would be best to fill that gap?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Who on earth would do a conservatory and leave it like this. yes the gap is probably there as the base is not level so it need to be raised in some places. Yes it should have been filled and sealed inside and out but your cowboy fitters perhaps wanted to get off to there pow wow
