Water damage to plastered concrete ceiling
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.33 PM
Hi, I would be grateful for how best to rectify water damage to our plastered concrete ceiling in a top floor 1960s flat. There was a water leak from the roof which caused damp staining to the ceiling. The leak has now been rectified and repaired. What would be the best method for addressing the ceiling once to loose/damp plaster has been chipped back? Thanks in advance

Depending on how bad the damp was, get a dehumidifier in first! Also, make sure over bad weather it is completely sealed! Other than that, either render/bond it!
The next step will obviously plaster it and decorate
