What part of the curtain pole may need tightening with Allen Keys?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 3.00 PM

Good Morning I have recently had a metal curtain pole installed. The fitter left me with two Allen Keys. What are these for please?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The Allen keys are used to tighten the wall brackets to the pole to stop the pole moving when you open and close your curtains. As stated previously they are also used to loosen or tighten the end finials.

Underneath the brackets holding the curtain pole there will be a small hex head screw that can be tightened using the correct allen key 👍

Hi, These are to attach the finials on the end of the pole and to tighten the pole in the brackets to stop it moving.

They are for the finials on both ends and probably to secure pole to the wall brackets

They are used to secure the finials and in most cases to prevent the pole coming out of the bracket
