No toilet vent installed in house drainage for toilets. Retro fit possible?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 3.00 PM

I have a 6 bedroom house which all has en-suites. I’ve noticed that builder did not install a toilet vent for the smell to escape. In one of the rooms, the smell of sewage is apparent and it comes through the shower tray hole when the water drys up in the U trap. I have access to the inspection chamber which is connected to the main sewer. Would it be possible to use of the chambers and build a vent and fix it the house leading to the roof so smells can escape. I’m getting smells from the whole side street
