I have cracks on the toilet waste pipe

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.51 PM

Hi, large cracks have appeared on the surface of my toilet waste pipe. The waste pipe appears to be plastic. And the cracks are discoloured a coppery colour. I don't know how long the cracks have been there. Should I be worried? Do I need to get the pipe replaced? Thanks.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes if you had cracks it would be ideal to replace

I would recommend replacing the cracked soil pipe and maybe see if there any obvious signs to why it cracked in the first place. Soil pipe is normally a very tough plastic

If you have a cracked soil pipe I would highly recommend getting it replaced. The last thing you want is for it to completely give way and have more than you need on your plate.
