Trouble with Potterson suprima 30L boiler

Hi Been having issues with a potterson suprima a 30L boiler works for about and hour a then it locks out, stops working and flashes a red light. This happens every day rights after being reset. Any advice!? Bare in mind this boiler is around 20 years old Cheers

Overheating might be causing it to lockout and multiple reasons can make that happen.

Definitely a circulation issue ,overheat stat faulty ,or just not distributing the heat from heat exchanger due to partly blocked pipe work ,as it’s a 20 year old boiler I wound be reluctant to spend money on it as it’s past its sell by date
