Ask a questionKitchen Fitting
Fitted floor units distance to stone staircase.

I've just had a kitchen fitted in my cottage and I had to have a stud wall built. The stud wall has been moved out to accommodate my fridge freezer. However to get to the fridge freezer if it fits, the joiner has left me with a 14" space to get to the freezer that's if it fits in. Do you think 14" is a reasonable space to pass through to the fridge freezer. The joiner says I could stretch over!

If 14" was reasonable, you would not even be asking this question. You should revisit the plans and see what reasonable modifications can be made

All questions are reasonable, as the customer is not always sure. He should not be, otherwise he would not need a tradesman.
The amount of space left by your fitter is depending on the size of the fridge you are going to get. If he left you with 14”, then this is the space you can work with when buying a fridge.
