Bricklaying & Repointing

CT1 use to repoint part of wall and reseal around french doors

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.05 PM

Can you use CT1 to do some repointing (on a temporary basis until I can get it done properly next year on part of my house at the back and secondly can you use CT1 to reseal around french doors that are are letting in rain and causing penetrating damp. I will be getting new french doors sometime in the new year as well.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I agree, ct1 is really good stuff for multi purpose jobs. Expensive... but good.

CT1 is not a silicone but a unique TRIBRID polymer for ultimate sealing and bonding which means it will not shrink or crack like other silicone based sealants but if you asked me to do it I would use sand cement so it machetes in I hope this was helpful
