New boiler and radiator fitted - lots of noise
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.50 PM
My old boiler stopped working a few months ago, and I decided to replace it. I had it replaced for a combi and a new radiator put in at the same time. Despite bleeding all the radiators fully, my central heating system is now very noisy. There is a massive squirting sound when the boiler quicks in (which is frequently). The new radiator and others produce very loud squirting and whooshing sounds. (To be clear, the radiators have all be bled.) Is it possible that there is a flaw with the boiler? The heating engineer has been back, but he can't recognise the issue and suggested that the system might be constricted in some way. What can I do? Do I just have to suck it up and pay someone else to replace a boiler that is a few months old?
