Changing conservatory roof

I'm thinking about ripping my poly roof completely off and down to wall plate in xchange for timber rafters and putting reland 50s,could frame possibly take weight
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You definitely cannot use a concerte tile it needs to be a synthetic lightweight tile otherwise you will have to put a crossmember strut across the width to stop the frames from splaying.

You could put 2 steel columns on the external corners (100mm box section) bedded in concrete, then fix timber support beams into the wall and onto the columns.
The columns and beams could be covered in PVC once completed to match the conservatory
The roof could then be built off these beams

The existing frames will not offer the support required to accommodate a timber roof structure unless load bearing corner posts have been installed or are introduced as well as a reinforced ringbeam equally supported. It's not just the weight of the new roof you need to consider, you will also need to make allowances for a snow loading of approximately two feet deep.

conservatives are built without planning consent,once you put a tiled roof on ,it's a different issue
