Electricians carrying out this report must be competent and members of either SELECT or NICEIC. For EICRs to be acceptable under the regulations, they must be documented on specified forms provided in the guidance.

Before Any Work is undertaken, it’s vital that you check your electrician is fully qualified and competent. The benefit of using a SELECT Member in Scotland is that you can trust the work will be carried out safely and to the highest of standards. Our Company is a SELECT Member in Scotland to offer that standard to our clients.

For a HMO the council like the electrician to be registered. If its not a hmo the regulations state: the electrician must be competent and have an understanding and MAY be registered.
