2 car driveway using sharpsand mix or concrate base and lay them on sharp sand ?

How much need to be dig for a 2 car driveway ? Should i use steel and build a concrate base or apply crush/sharp sand mix only ? What the deept needed and how you think will be a cheap option

The question doesn't make perfect sense if you can say wether block paving to be layed or just a concrete base then i can help with this and give a good suggestion but any sub base i would always recommend 3 inches of type one wackered down and at least 2 inches of sand if dry mix if wet poured concrete then go 4 inches with expansion joints if over a sertain size i hope this has been of some use to you .

Hi you need Dig out about 220mm then put in type 1 stone compacted with suitable vibrating plate 150mm deep then 20mm /30mm sharp sand screed compacted with vibrating plate then you 50mm monoblock after laying block brush in kiln dried sand only if monobkock are dry then go over mono block with vibrating plate again and brush in some more sand

A cheap option is normally false economy
Will cost more in the long run. Depends on what you are going to do, but for a drive the foundation is the main thing.
