Iron residue coming through the filters from a bore hole
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.05 PM
I have a bore hole supplying the water to my property. The water goes through a couple of filters (one for the iron), but seems to let quite a bit of iron residue through, which colours the water a bit, and stains white clothing while it's being washed. What's the best way to overcome this?

Not recommended that iron is used on borehole installation as it can oxidise over time leaving residue and can eventually create over wear on the pump and create blockages. Plastic tanks and pipes are a definite step forward in solving this issue
