Viewing tradesman's insurances

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.49 PM

As someone who has posted jobs, where can I see the insurance status of tradesmen? I.e. which section of the site can I see this and how do I navigate there from either the shortlist section or from the interested in my job section?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Check their profile, it will be clearly visible. In case you can’t find it means that they don’t have/didn’t submit one .

The better answer is if you own the house then it's all down to your house insurance. The builder can have all the insurance in the world but leagily it all comes down to your own house insurance. If insurance is reason for picking a builder for private work then do some research to see exactly where you stand from a legal standpoint. This was something I learned through a builder I know experience.
