How long to redecorate bedroom?

Hello, how long would you estimate it should take do the following jobs: - Prep and paint the walls and ceiling of an average sized bedroom (there is a fair amount of prep work involved as chases need sanding etc.). One wall to be wallpapered. - Remove and install new skirting board (also paint) - Remove existing flooring (carpet and engineered wood flooring to be removed) - Remove and install new door (also paint) - Prep and repaint existing door frame - Install boxing around pipes on one wall We have received a quote which seems excessive in terms of the length of time to do this job (we have been quoted 11 days in total but the price per day seems reasonable). Thoughts?

Decorating any size room needs to be properly assessed as to the amount of preparation work is required depending on the condition of walls and Ceilings, materials used and the drying times of such materials. Taking into account all the other work required there could well be additional further work required once the skirting boards or flooring have been removed. The Quality of any decorating finish is only as good as the preparation and care carried out. So, in short 10 -11 days would be average for all the work required.

Everyone asking this question it depends on the job until you see the job in person it gives you more details on what has to be dune,some rooms need more work than others, Some might need plastering,undercoat, and have cracks some walls might have mold . The more men on the job the quicker the job gets dune ,if you can work 12 14 hour days the job can be dune faster.
