10 Month Old Flat Roof Started Leaking!! What Can I do?

Hi, In December 2021, I had a new flat roof installed and today I've noticed a stream of water running down the wall and it's leaking! It's leaking above the bit where the flat roof joins the rest of the building, as it's a non-original extension that was put on some time in the 70s. What could cause a new flat roof to leak so early in its life? Is it worth calling the guy that installed the roof back to fix it? Thanks!

Sounds like poor flashing where flat roof meets pitched roof, ask contractor to remedy as soon as , or contact your local ' My Builder.com ' roofing services people for help.

This is a joint issue possibly. You can call the original tradesmen back but it depends how long his guarantee is. I would say call the original tradesmen back as he will have a better idea of what might be happening but he may charge as when he left it did work properly for ten months however freak weather may have cause the leak.
