Will carpet cover 15 mm gap under skirting

I have a 15mm between skirting board and floor boards at one side of my livingroom. If i get underlay gripoers and a new carpet, can this gap be hidden?

It is sometimes possible to cut the carpet a bit bigger and feed under the gap although without seeing the type of carpet and gap couldn't really say for certain it will work.

Hello I agree with the last answer gripper is 7 mm and if you choose a thicker carpet 1cm or over should cover it
