I can’t use a gas heater because it failed a smoke test , after an inspection from a chimney sweeper he said it looks like the chimney wasn’t built correctly. Who do I need to find to fix the problem?

Hi, i imagine the best people to start with to determine if the chimney is correct would be a surveyor or structural engineer.
