Why is water coming into my house

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.44 PM

I have recently had a whole new varanda unit installed - frame, door, windows and cladding as I had a leak coming in at the bottom of my varanda door in the corner. This water ingress is still happening and I have no idea where it is coming from

There must be a sealing problem around the door...I would suspect maybe the threshold is not doing it job?

It is impossible to tell without a visual inspection and taking things apart to see what’s going on behind the scenes Water will always take the easy route The final destination of the water isn’t always where the problem is

It would appear to me that this problem is inherent and you require some sort of drainage (Aco) around the entire original structure as the damp course has been compromised?
