Leaky tap on kitchen sink hot water tap

Hi my hot water tap in the kitchen is leaking round the bottom when I turn it on also the tap feels loose what could it be thank you

Hi, Normally if the kitchen tap is leaking around the base then the tap has failed. you cant normally get those seals so a replacement tap would be required.

You can get rubber seals for tap, but to be honest it's cheaper to swap the tap
