Neighbours roof redone

Hi my neighbour is having his roof retiled where our properties meet the tiles aren’t interlocking and flush is this going to be s problem in future with worse weather etc thanks

If they've installed a lead gutter or fibreglass joint strip it'll be fine

As long as the intersection has been completed to a good standard you shouldn’t have any issues , it will have to be maintained though as the channel can now block . Obviously it’s better if the whole roof is one material with no breaks .

I completely agree If they've installed a lead gutter or fibreglass joint strip this will give you the best protection

You need a secret gutter. Joint strip there has to be a divide which caters for different tiles.

Yes a bonding gutter would be fine but a shame they cant use same tiles.but i understand it may not be the customers choice
