Convert a fixed rain shower to combo of rain shower and handheld shower

My bath room only has fixed rain shower head. It is connected high up from the wall. I prefer handheld shower head. Is it possible to convert the rain shower to a combo of rain shower and handheld show? If yes, how?

Hello this is possible but without seeing any pictures it is impossible to give details on the level of disruption caused by the work it could be minimal or you could be in a position where the walls involved need tilling or at least covering.
