Daikin Altherma Hybrid Air Source Heat Pump

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.48 PM

Hi, I have a Daikin Altherma Hybrid Air Source Heat Pump which was installed in 2016. I’ve noticed that the DHW isn’t getting quite as hot as usual and when looking on the boiler the seven segment display it is flashing 0.5 continuously. Is anyone able to help with what that means and what action is needed? Thanks in advance! Update: I’ve since had a response from Daikin Tech support informing me that this is the code for the water pressure being too low (below 0.5 bar).

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Paul, I'm pretty sure that Daiken fault codes are a letter and a number. Are you sure thats what the read out says? Regards Carl

Hi Paul, Check the pressure gauge, if it is showing water circulation set to 1.5 bar and get it checked by a qualified engineer. Thanks
