depends really on if the house is solid brick or has cavity wall insulation installed

Window sills are there for a reason! If your tradesman has overlooked this then what else have they considered? Is the K-Rend just for aesthetics or offered as a solution due to water ingress? How solid/stable is the pebbledash they have gone onto? No point covering things over!!

Hi,problem is,if the window cills are not proud of the wall.when it rains the water will run down the walls causing stains on your new render in a very short time.might be an idea speaking with a window company about extending your cills with wider ones.

This is because, when the windows were 1st installed they will have been set out and fixed with adequate room for rendering and enough over hang with the sills. But as the k rend has been applied over existing pebble dash, you have subsequently added between 10mm-16mm of thickness to the exterior wall therefore loosing your sill over hang

The dash should of been taken off and apply k rend to existing brick. You can get over sized cills but this would mean taking your window out and damaging the work already done.
