Kitchen Fitting

Has anyone got any postive reviews on getting a B and Q kitchen in Northamptonshire

Hi hope you can help. I have brought a kitchen from B and Q in August. They can't deliver untill 14 December. I was told this while finalising the kitchen. I said that's no problem. But now I'm so worried looking at all the negative reviews. I have to wait that long so everything comes together. The kitchen fitters is coming 2 days before the kitchen gets delivered to rip out my old kitchen. He said it ll give him time to plaster where my tiles have been and for it to dry off. So when the kitchen arrives he get get on with it. Its like for like desgin wise. I've been told this will take 9-10 days to fit it. In time for Christmas. I'd be grateful for any comments and especially if anyone has anything good to say about a B and Q kitchen. Thankyou

Hi I have fitted a few b&q kitchens in my time and there’s always been a few components missing , this was never a problem at the time as there was no major time pressure to get it done The time scale you have mentioned is very very tight and there is no room for any unforeseen issues ( if there will be any ) My best advice to you would be to hold onto fitting the new one until the new year , talk to your builders im sure they will be happy to re arrange in the new year as that’s a tight schedule for them and they wouldn’t want the pressure on them if they didn’t finish in time for you ( that’s how I’d feel anyway 😊) Hope this advice helps Kind regards A Davies A Davies joinery

Can't speak about your chosen B&Q but as said previously, often parts missing which are not readily available, this is one reason I refuse to fit their kitchens, also quality, I prefer Howdens, replacement or missing parts are generally available from stock or a nearby branch, quality is far superior and they'll normally price match like for like. Timescale impossible to comment on without seeing the job. Regards, Ian...
