I paid £180 to supply and fit an electric shower in July.

As above please help! I have tried several times to contact him with no reply. So disappointed dissatisfied never again. I either want my shower or a refund ASAP. Please help.

why on earth did you pay for something before it had been done, sorry to hear this but the chances of you getting your job done or your money back after this length of time without legal action I feel is very slim.

So sorry to hear you have had a bad experience. We never ask for money up front. We invoice for a stage payment when we actually commence work and then the remainder upon completion of the project.
If you have quote in writing and proof of payment then trying putting a letter to the contractor stating the facts and also stating what you would like to happen and give him a deadline to resolve your issue. Send recorded delivery so that you have proof of this.
