Repiping for Gas Central Heating System

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.58 PM

I have had a new boiler fitted but the radiator's are not getting hot, the plumber has run a pipe to a new radiator and this has got hot. So has advised that the whole system of pipes will need replacing, as the downstairs floors cannot be removed he has suggested running new pipes down from 2nd floor to downstairs radiators but these would be exposed. Is there any other way than this, could the pipes be flushed?

get a plumber who is a qualified heating engineer he will show you what can be done, you can of course get system flushed but this should have been done before boiler was fitted.

Powerflush before new boiler was installed might have helped.
