Do I have to submit a planning notice for a side door in the garage?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.48 PM

Currently we have no access into our garden from the garage, so everything (lawn mowers, bbq's) has to be taken round the corner on the pavement and thru a side gate. So we would like to put a side door into the garage giving direct access into the garden and vice versa. As long as I get a builder to do the work do I need to submit a planning notice?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

as permitted development. If you are not changing the shape or size of the garage Then No planning is required.
