Hob extractor near window

Hello. I'm trying to find UK building regs to terminate an extractor duct near a window externally (below 1st floor window) for a gas/electric hob. Any help or advice would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

One solution would be to look at carbon filter hoods.
They work very efficiently by removing the smells and recycling the air into fresh air.
They aren't too expensive.
