Replace trv head

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.30 PM

I have an old Tower make trv which is broken (control just keeps turning). If I replace it with a new Tower head can I be sure it will fit or is there an alternative?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Take a trip to your local plumbers merchant with the broken TRV (not screwfix etc) and they will match it but you will have to buy the entire TRV complete with body - not expensive

Most brands of TRV heads are different in design. Your best option is to remove the head and take it to a real plumbers merchants, not screwfix/ wicks etc and get some advice. Or call a plumber

Either a same trv or a new trv . You would have to buy a valve and thermostat they are not sold separate.
