Effects of applying aluminium paint onto damp felt roof

Yesterday a roofer applied aluminium bitumous paint to my flat felt roof. I realised later that there had actually been puddles on the roof the night before so there's no way it could've dried by the next morning before application. My concern is that as the damp can no longer dry out there's only one way for it to go, into the house. Can anyone give me advice, think I've been hoodwinked by a rogue!!!!
