Can a saniflow be installed outdoors?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.43 PM

Our plan would be to install it outdoors (pipes running to and from through holes already in the outer wall) but would need to be in some sort of waterproof box I imagine?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes it can be installed outside as long as it’s covered up both saniflow and electrics

Depends on who's installing l it. Electrics outside even in a box needs to be done correctly. Stay safe and get a professional in. So in a nut shell yes it can be installed outside.

Depending on what is taking away,if is waste water and WC then needs to be connected onto the pan otherwise you'll loose warranty. If is just waste water like shower, basin, washing machine there are better solution like waste water pumps But with both you should be more concerned about frosting as rain water is not really an issue

Simply it’s not a problem. Don’t forget that the pipework is small ( 22mm ) therefore any outside pipes will need to be well lagged. The actual machine is totally waterproof and can be left in outside conditions as long as the electrical connections are kept dry. They are great machines as long as you don’t stuff the wrong materials into them.
