Old chimney breast removed from bedroom, where is best place to fit a vent for air circulation?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.43 PM

I had a chimney breast removed from a bedroom, in winter months I get condensation and think poor air circulation might be the cause. Where in the bedroom might the best place to install a vent be? Many thanks.

Where the chimney breast was on the lower part of the wall or if you have hardwood flooring in front of it.

In my experience mixing cool air with warmer air in a room cuts out condensation. Therefore high up on the outside wall is the best option . If you look at older pre sixties properties the room air brick vent is always up high
