Moving Nest thermostat to new home

Just wondering how easy it is to move a nest thermostat to a new home and replace with a basic one? Buyers being difficult and I don't want to leave them anything they've not paid for!!
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Laura it is a fairly simple task. Most of the time can just be a simple swap but sometimes the type of boiler and wiring arrangement may require some alteration. A qualified electrician will be able to complete no problem in less than a day either way.

I would leave it and get a new one. They don't last forever and you'll spend unnecessary money changing them over.
