Do you need cover/protection for windows and windowsills to stop any damage

I have had some paople out to take the render of the property and i would like to know if there would usually be coverings for the windows before it gets taken of? To stop any windows from getting damaged during the process

Hi dear will a professional worker would cover the windows will protected but not to remove the windows if so that would cost you time.

When removing old render or applying new the windows should always be protected

The answer that was given ie about taking the windows out wasn’t I’m the question the question was shall they cover the windows before you take the render off answer lol cover the windows with wood ply not just masking tape as wouldn’t protect it from falling stones
