Shower pressure dropping and temperature drops

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.48 PM

...but the boiler seems fine? All the other taps etc work perfectly re: heat and pressure. Just the (non-power) shower acting up! Any advice would be brilliant

Hi.. Obviously it could be something simple like scale in the shower head, thermostat etc etc reducing flow? Or if you have a combi boiler pressure could drop at shower if other taps : appliances are in use.. It may need an on site investigation though I hope that helps

If all other taps are fine sounds like it could be the shower mixer if you have one on. Could need replaced

The answer is a good one but would also like to add that there could be an air lock in the pipe work if it’s an open vented system.
