Removing dried Grout from unpolished pavers

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.47 PM

I have recently layed a large area of porcelain pavers in my back garden, I've grouted it and thought I had cleaned enough of the grout haze off with sponge and water, turns out I didn't, now it won't come off. I have used straight LTP concrete and grout remove, agitated with a soft brush then a stiff brush and jet washed it all off but it is barely removing anything. Any pros have any tips or tricks I could try. Thanks in advance.

You could try using an acid wash, test it on a small area first. Apply the acid and scrub off with a hard brush.

Hi mate, you can use acid for removal or, best use the Rotary floor machine, you will surely have good results.

The grout was left on to long, it will take a lot of acid wash to remove the residue, or even grout remover. It will be a lot of work, good luck.
