No water to my electric shower

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.30 PM

I have no water supply what so ever to my electric shower. When the pull cord is switched on I just get a really high pitched sound with reset and water supply lights lit. I am therefore guessing that the issue is something to do with the water supply however I have no issue with water supply anywhere else in the house. Any ideas of where I could potentially look at first to fix this myself The water supply went suddenly worked one day not the next. We don’t have a bath to check under

Have you made sure there are no hidden valves turned off to shower? Under bath?

Depending if you’re in a hard water area or not the shower may be blocked. Failing that the solenoid valve may have gone, you can test with a multimeter. Easiest option, new electric shower.

Electric shower is faulty , it has a solo lid which opens to allow the water flow . Contact a trained professional to diagnose and repair or replace accordingly
