Hi, in my garden i dont have a manhole but both my neighbours do. I have this huge rain bucket collecting water from the lean to building. How would we be able to have a normal drainage system rather than me emptying out rain water everytime it rains…

Hi well if it's just rain water, unless they have changed thing's you are supposed to have rain water going into a soak away not directly into the mains drainage system.so you need to find out more from your council building regs department.
