What should i do where a new dpc is higher than the adjoining wall?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.43 PM

New wall abutting an old wall and the new dpc is higher then the older wall. The brickwork therefore effetely bridges the old DPC? Is that an issue and if so what is needed to do that? MT

if the new dpc bridges the old dpc it shouldn't be a problem aslong as there is sufficient overlap i would say a minimum of 600mm that should well and truly suffice
