Partial removal of tiling that covers part of a window
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.58 PM
I'm in the process of buying a property in which the bathroom has been completely tiled over. However, the side of the wall next to the bath tub extends over, partially covering the window. Is it possible to fix this? If so, what are my options?

You will need to knock off the tiles and fill and sand the area.
It will take a few applications, so don't fill it too heavily, let it go off sand and fill, then repeat. Keep repeating until you have the finish your after.
I suggest you use a product called easy fill, it can be purchased from builders merchants.
Or depending on the damage you may be better of gunning it all off and then dot and dabbing plaster board on the area, giving you the best surface to start from.
